CRONKHITE, Audrey Clore - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Audrey Clore Cronkhite, 65, 415 Tulip Drive, Indianapolis died Wednesday evening, Dec 17 in her home. She was born Feb 16, 1921 south of HIllsboro to Everett and Mabel Hallett Clore. She married Robert Cronkhite of Waynetown June 16, 1948. He survives. She taught school at New Richmond, Waynetown and Emory Manuel HS, Indianapolis for 31 years. Retired 1974. Former member of Wallace Phanuel Lutheran Church and member of Bethany Lutheran at Indianapolis. Member of OES, Waynetown CHapter 435; Indiana Retired Teachers and Honorary Fraternity of Sigma Pi Rho at Terre Haute. 1938 graduate of Wallace HS and Indiana State University; master of arts at Indiana University. Surviving besides her husband are son and daughter-in-law, Kim and Teresa Cronkhite and daughter, Teressa Beth Cronkhite. Funeral services were 2 p.m.Saturday in Wallace Phanuel Lutheran Church with Rev. Robert Rohrman officiating. Burial in adjoining cemetery. Thomas Funeral Home Waynetown was in charge.
